The controller of your personal data is NLB Banka a.d. Banja Luka, Milana Tepića 4, Banja Luka (hereinafter: “NLB”).

Purpose of processing: The Bank conducts video surveillance for the purpose of protecting and ensuring the safety of people and property, as well as for the subsequent analysis of events.

Legal basis: Law on Security Measures in the Handling of Cash and Other Valuables (“Official Gazette of RS”, No. 33/15, Article 6).

Video surveillance locations: NLB business premises, ATMs, and cash deposit and withdrawal machines.

In addition to authorised Bank employees, your data are also processed by our contracted processor – an external physical security service provider. The processor processes the data on behalf of and for the account of the Bank, in accordance with the provisions of the contract and within the scope of the services entrusted to it by the Bank under the contract. The Bank will disclose personal data to third parties solely on the basis of a justified request, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.

Video recordings are stored on a technical device (disk) and, depending on the storage capacity, are automatically overwritten by new recordings. Recordings are retained for a minimum of 7 days, in accordance with the Law.

The data subject (the person to whom the data relate), in accordance with the Law, has the following rights:

• to be informed of the collection of data by the controller;

• to be informed of the source of personal data;

• to access personal data;

• to receive information regarding the processing of their personal data – at least once a year, free of charge;

• to lodge a complaint.

The right to lodge a complaint may be exercised by submitting a written request to initiate proceedings for the protection of the right to privacy when the data subject becomes aware or suspects that their personal data have been processed unlawfully or that there is a risk of infringement of their rights.

You are not required to provide your data.

However, it is not possible to use our ATMs or cash deposit and withdrawal machines that are under video surveillance, or to enter and move within our business premises that are also under video surveillance, without such activities being recorded by the video surveillance system.
